"The MHMA collects, preserves, promotes, and facilitates access to items chronicling myaamia language, culture and history for the purpose of advancing knowledge and understanding of these to all tribal members as well as non-member researchers."

A new exhibit is open at the newly renovated Myaamia Heritage Museum & Archive (MHMA), featuring pieces from the collections of the National Museum of the American Indian, the Cranbrook Institute of Science, and MHMA.

The 4th Eugene V. Brown Memorial Art Show

The Myaamia Heritage Museum will host the 4th Eugene V. Brown Memorial Art Show from June 23 - August 25, 2025. This show will be open to all Miami tribal citizens as well as their immediate family members. Divisions and categories have been set to include varied artists, art forms, and styles. Prizes and special awards will be presented. Please view the application below for full rules and categories.
