Mission Statement
Miami Tribe of Oklahoma Title VI Nutrition Program
The Miami Tribe of Oklahoma’s Title VI Nutrition Program provides nutritious lunches at no cost to tribal and non-tribal elders aged 55 and older who reside within a 50-mile radius, as well as Miami Tribal members of any age. Individuals who do not meet these eligibility requirements may purchase a meal for $5.
Lunch is served Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Enjoy your meal in a welcoming, social setting that fosters community and connection, or choose the convenience of carryout. Home-delivered meals may also be arranged for individuals who are homebound.
The Miami Tribe of Oklahoma’s Title VI Nutrition Program provides Caregiver services to support family members who are caring for their elders and other members who may qualify for services. Caregiver services are available to those eligible who live within a 50-mile radius. For more information about Caregiver services, please contact Laurie Shade.
