Daryl Baldwin, tribal Citizen and Director of the Myaamia Center at Miami University has been awarded the MacArthur Fellowship. This is a highly distinguished award that recognizes his tremendous contributions to language revitalization. To read more about Daryl's fellowship click the this link.

"The Miami Tribe of Oklahoma has donated $33,000 to the History Center to pay for the restoration of the shake shingle roof of the Chief Richardville House on Bluffton Road​."  To read more about the donation click on this link.

 

 

Myaamia Culture Workshop - Saturday, Sept 29th beginning at 8:30am and ending at 11am. Breakfast will be provided and will begin at 8:30am. 

Kansas Fall Gathering - The annual gathering will be held September 29, 2018, from Noon to 3 p.m. at Timbercreek Grill, 14 E. Amity Street (1 mi E of Hwy 69), Louisburg, Kan.

Tribe will provide lunch. Informational session with Business Commitee members following.
